inner timing - trainer mode
Add a trainer mode where the sound of the metronome stops for a random number of beats. the user continues to play and when the metronome sound resumes, the user can see how well they stayed on time. the silence gap starts small and increases while the user remains in trainer mode...

Hi.
Thank you for your post Jeff S.
I don't get it :)
You needn't to choose from predefined patterns or select tempo from predefined bpm buttons (20, 25, 30 ...).
You can easily create your own pattern and save it for future use. But it's true, that you can't select 8 bpm. 20 bpm is minimum, but you can add pause to obtain really slow tempo.
I've created 8 bpm example for you:

I'm also thinking about mobile version, maybe iPhone version. But this is a future for now.
Thanks for your help.

This is one of the best uses for a metronome. The problem for me with current site is that I have to choose from you want me to pick from. I need to be able to create my own patterns for my own needs. All I need to do is select ANY time value down to 8 bpm. I do not see a need to go above what already exist - for me anyway, others may need something. This way I can set up the metronome as clicking on just 2 and 4 or only 1, things like this. And all it takes is slower settings.
There may be a need for someone to pick a time signature, a tempo and then any assortment of beats for the metronome to click on. I can see this as being extremely useful.
Lastly, I would like to be able to download this to my iPhone and use my phone on the road without carrying another metronome or having to get my computer out and be connected to the internet to use it.
Thanks for your time -Jeff S.

I was thinking about that, and I think that at the moment you can simulate such "tempo trainer" with rithm pattern e.g.:
0000000000-----
0000000000----------
0000000000--------------------
10x beat, 5x pause
10x beat, 10x pause
10x beat, 20x pause
or sth like that.
What do you think?

Nice.
There was already such suggestion, but I appreciate that.
I have some plans to create a couple of trainers for musicians. And I think "tempo trainer" is a good idea.
Once again thanks.
I will surely let you know when it's ready.
Cheers.
