Hey, I love this online met. I agree with what the person a few spaces below me said about cowbell, woodblock, and the like. I would also enjoy maracas, a guiro, and maybe even a steel drum.

hey just learning to play guitar and need a beat line to go wtih some bluesy type playing tried to put one together but just couldn't get the right sound. anybody?

I like your Metronome sounds, but voice (like the DB-90) would be great.

I prefer the dry metronome click and would like a second dry metronome click (the same as the #0 sound or perhaps slightly changed). This would enable us to make stronger and weaker accents.

Thank you very much for your suggestions, but I have to tell you that on Advanced version there are almost solely REAL SOUNDS. Recorded from real percussion on real, professional microphone but of course with some adjustment.

If you need CLICK like sounds there are:
- 0 : real metronome (Wittner) sound and
- 6 : snare ramp

You really need some more real percussion sounds like cowbells, woodblocks, even a dry drumstick click. I need sounds I can use live on stage for a clicktrack for a drummer and these explosive sounds work best plus they are more natural "band sounds" for bleed-through from monitors. Better yet, we need to be able to import our own wav files.
Bells and synths are pretty useless, as are kick and snare sounds unless you are making your own drum machine patterns, and there are better programs for doing that specific job.

For the moment you can create such patterns by yourself just clicking desired instruments (0-7) or entering whole pattern manually (EDIT - input box).

I'm going to create soon some kind of pattern save option + pattern sharing between users. So maybe your own "community" will create a lot of different patterns.

Hi there, thanks for spending your time doing this tool, it's just great!! My suggestion is, what about odd time patterns? 5/4, 7/4, 9/4 and so on.
Also you could create an accent pattern, let's suppose you've got a 4/4 bar in quarter notes, you could put the accent in each 1/4 note of the bar, for instance, if you have 4 notes on the bar you could accent only on the 2nd note, another one only on the 3rd and another only ion the 4th...that's a great fun and perfect for jazz/fusion practising when you have to accent in specific notes.

I just browsed onto your website and think your advanced metronome is a great tool.

I think it would be fantasitic if you had a feature like a double bass or bass guitar on it.

I am trying to improve my timing on a 5 string bluegrass banjo and need a solid beat to keep time.

Most metronomes come with an irritating click or bell which can be quite distracting.

All I need is some popularity. I really believe that software that I've created it's not so bad. But lot of musician just didn't hear about it. So the best help for me is to add BestMetronome.com link on your site or blog or some music forum etc...

You metronome has provided me with several hours of enjoyment.

I definitely love to have some more percussion sounds. I just found this metronome and its great to practice stick rudiments. The chit of a hi-hat and a very dry bass drum sounds would make it even better. The start stop with the space-bar is also a great idea.

Thanks a lot for your post. I'll try to make your suggested changes. The idea that START/STOP button should react on spacebar is really good. But for the moment i'm using spacebar (and enter) for CUSTOM TEMPO taping(bottom right of the app). But it can be done.

Hey, this is a great metronome, I'm glad I found it. It is far superior to what I was using, Metronome Online. I have only used the program briefly, but here are two things that I would love to see.
1. Be able to start and stop with space bar. This should be a default for all audio programs. That way there is much less mousing involved, which is better if you're playing an instrument.
2. This is a minor thing, but the bookmark sharing button is right over where you type in beats per minute, and keeps popping up if I'm just a tiny bit off with the mouse. It would be more helpful if it were on the top center instead of top right.
